Hi all, I'm trying to curate the mission, vision statements and culture code. Anyone who has done this for an early stage startup? Would love to hear your thoughts

The way to go about doing this is to 1. Have one on one conversations with the Founders & Leadership Team and understand the Purpose of the Organization according to each one of them. 2. Have a common FGD to crystallize and come to a common understanding - and document the vision and mission statement. 3. Translate it to Long Term and Short Term Goals. 4. Come up with a Generic Strategy for achievement of these goals. 5. Translate the Strategy into Cultural Pillars and a Competency Framework. 6. Translate the Cultural Pillar and Competency Framework into all HR Processes and Systems.
This is a long drawn process, and requires a strong commitment and support from the Founders and the Leadership Team. So before you start with this - just explain the time investment that will be required for this, so that it will get you the desired impact. Infact early stage of start up is the right time to have all of this started.

Culture code---- process to follow---do a survey to gather the opinion on the company from clients, customers, employees, leaders, and founders. -- Take the help from Marketing team 2. Consider analyzing the competitors 3. Research the critical qualities needed in every employee no matter what role they will be working.4. Focus on goals that the company is looking for such as ESG, CSR< performance, operations, 5, For each value that you write consider the list of competencies and acceptable behaviors. 6. Research what different generations consider in a company to join.7. Have an objective and checklist created so that you can go through them now and then. 8. Involve the CEO, and CMO in the process they might come up with good sentences that help you in employer branding. 9. Consider a code of conduct that explains all values, behaviors with team members, discipline, how to treat one another, collaboration, growth mindset, limiting beliefs, and boundaries, Have a training module created for them on each of it. For Missionand Vission involve stargies, CEO, CMO< CFO and use balanced score, direction for the upcimg years, comptitve advatges they hwant to retain or achive,
