Hi all, we have recently taken a Group Health Insurance policy for our employees for which the insurance premium paid is added as part of the CTC of the people who have opted in. If newer people are joining, how should I be calculating the insurance premium to be added to their CTC before getting the actual amount from the vendor?

Majority of the insurance companies have a fixed band of premium basis the age bracket you can check with them to get it and pro rate based on DOJ, Age etc.

Adding to @Rohan Mankad You can ask for a calculator from the Insurer. In case you are covering dependents, you will have to to take their details from the candidate prior to the joining. @Deepti K S It will be useful to know the reason of adding the premium to the employee CTC.
