If Basic is 40% of Monthly CTC, (Assuming HRA is 40% of Basic) then how much percent of Monthly CTC is HRA.

Depending on the CTC break-up, approximately 16%

Considering monthly ctc =10000 basic = 4000 hra =1600 hra as %of ctc=16%

As per it. Basic should 50%.Hra is calculated based on metro and non metro city. Metro is calculated as 50% and non metro is 40%
