Hi Team, #expert-ama As now most of the companies are working on WFH mode, during WFH, if any Employee is mocking their availability by keeping curser moving (with some python script), and caught by doing this. What kind of actions should be taken? From our end, we have given one time verbal notice to him/her for their action. And not to do this again. But it has been done repeatedly, and employee does not have any justification for it.

Does the employee have clearly defined goals? How is their work output? There are two things here: 1. Use of unethical tactics by employee 2. Possibility that the company is asking the person to remain on their seat despite having finished work If it is only No. 1 and NOT No. 2, I suggest a conversation first to understand why this is being done. If it's No. 1 and No. 2 together, then both parties need to fix things.

Hi @Kruti Shah This is against the professional ethics in the first place. If the employee has been repeating this despite a few warnings, you'll need to let go of that person. If the employee is in a critical role, you shall do the following: 1. Put this in written format. 2. Have a chat and ask the employee to put down paper (this needs to be done on disciplinary grounds). Also, it leaves a black mark on employee if you terminate. So it's good for the employee to resign. 3. Check if you can promote any employee for this role. If not, start finding replacement - so that the work is not affected.
