Another quick question - We have 2 open positions - Senior Business Analyst (5-7 years exp.) and Business Analyst(3-4 years exp.). Should we create a single open position saying 'Hiring BA with 3+ years' or 2 separate positions in our ATS? What is the best practise ?

Probably 2 different positions because a person with 6-7 years of experience may not apply, thinking their salary will be lower.
Also, you can get better reporting and data on the quality of applications if you have two positions.

Hi. The roles mentioned are unique role in terms of upscaling and hence you should create 2 different salary ranges for them and ideally 2 different positions. If for eg your BA role was in bracket of 3-7 yrs with l1 n l2 split internally than it can be termed as one role. If you don't split it now, you shall have difficulty in maping the roles during internal benchmarking

@Hiral Bhatt What I have done in the past if the work responsibilities isn’t too different is posting the job as “Sr. Business Analyst/ Business Analyst”.
