Hello, I'm looking how to tackle
atmos terraform destroy
with GitHub Actions. With vanilla Terraform, resources are deleted when source code files are removed from the codebase. With Atmos components that is not the case, as we need deep merged yaml to even run terraform in the first place. I'm looking for ways how to carry out deletions when PR with deleted
yaml
files gets created.

enabled = false
should delete all resources via usual apply operation. Then, in the next PR you can remove the YAML itself.

Michal is right, but there is another option now too
We recently added support for deletions to describe affected

It will detect deleted component instances

Need to check that, too!

Yep!
@PePe Amengual I think most recently updated his pipelines to use it
p
yes, we used describe affected to get the matrix to then run destroy in each content
