@gifted-leather-56422 You can send them regular emails instead, just add a link to the /register Stacker page so they can register their account themselves, it’s basically what does Stacker with their own emails.
g
Hi @sticky-night-20812, thanks! We got this suggestion as well, but after you open the “/register” link, you have to enter the email, and the same process repeats.
s
@gifted-leather-56422 And if you send the invitation email by clicking on the “Send welcome email”?
g
It’s the same outcome, all in all, it always gets sent by StackerHQ to the Customer. a) [me] -> click(“Send Welcome Email”) -> Stacker sends email to the user with a link to set-up password b) [user] -> clicks (‘/register’) -> Form with email entry opens up -> enter email and submit -> Stacker sends email to the user with a link to set-up password

Hey @gifted-leather-56422, you can perhaps prefill the email in the registration form by using parameters. yourcustomeraccesurl/register?email=test@test.com
g
Yes, I know that, but still on confirmation of the form, that “Test@test.com” will have to receive an email with the activation link, which was the issue originally. I’d prefer to send out the activation link ourselves
e
@gifted-leather-56422 Ahhh, sorry for misunderstanding your use case—unfortunately I believe this is not doable.
g
That’s what I thought! Another alternative, which I heard from one of the support representatives was that we could configure our domain to be used for email purposes. What would be the process for that?
e
@gifted-leather-56422 You would set up your email with your provider, and then let us know the address through the support widget. 🙂
g
So basically, we create a new email account, (e.g. no-reply@ourdomain.com) and then just tell you the domain? Wouldn’t we need to configure our server to allow you to use the domain?
Or provide SMTP server credentials for your application to re-use
e
If you can create a new email account and send us the domain, we’ll then guide you through any other necessary steps. 🙂
g
Clear, thanks!
