Yeah, there is no encryption per say, but the data cannot be accessed, which is the point.

Ok <@U01B1LTTYQJ> I was thinking from a layout perspective all users see the same fields but based on permissions field values would be blurred or similar. I have not implemented such permissions yet so don't know how it looks in that scenario, I'll try it. Thank you.

It’s not blurred, it just doesn’t show up if they aren’t allowed to access that data

you could probably do what you want with a formula field though.  Like IF({feature_is_activated}, {display_data|, “Not Available”)
