Hi All, I continue to research Solidus as an option for the re-platform of our marketplace and did a number of Pagespeed tests on Solidus websites at https://pagespeed.web.dev/ I was surprised to find that Solidus sites seem to be mediocre when to comes to speed. As we all know speed is important for buyer conversions and when Google ranks SEO. Compare the below speed ratings for Solidus sites: MeUndies = 5 Mobile, 17 Desktop Away = 33 Mobile, 65 Desktop Peach = 5 Mobile, 52 Desktop Maisonette = 6 Mobile, 18 Desktop Here's an example of a non-Solidus site that scores great on speed: https://www.novica.com/ = 74 Mobile, 98 Desktop Are there any examples of fast Solidus sites? Any thoughts on the importance of site speed? Is Solidus capable of being a fast experience for buyers?

We did one that gets 89 on mobile and 100 on desktop, link to the report https://pagespeed.web.dev/report?url=https%3A%2F%2Fmctinfo.net%2F&form_factor=mobile
It's not an overly complicated site and we did a lot of caching to get the speeds up
But it IS possible to get high speed scores with solidus

When it comes to the frontend, that's really up to you and your build. Nothing is stopping you from getting a really high score on page speed. AlarmGrid, for example, gets a 96 on desktop.
The Solidus demo site (https://demo.solidus.io/) gets a 98 on desktop. It's not the platform that determines the performance, it's what your developers do with it.

Thanks guys! We aren’t happy with our current platform and want to make sure we make the right decision when switching. I appreciate your input.
