@tvdeyen and I are working on fixing extension test suites. We're currently running into the fact that

rails new 7.0.x

does not work because of this bug: https://github.com/rails/rails/pull/54264 . While this PR has been merged, it has not been released as a new patch level of the Rails 7.0 series. The test suite of

solidus_dev_support

depends on

rails new _7.0.8_

to work, and it simply won't work. We have two Solidus versions that we still support, v4.1 and v4.2 that both only work with Rails 7.0, and which both fail. I propose dropping support for Solidus v4.1 and v4.2 and making it policy that we do not support Solidus versions which need a Rails version that does not receive bugfixes. Yes, we can assume people are building on the latests versions of Rails

Honestly April 1 is the last day of security support for 7.0, I think it should be dropped all together. I am not sure it’s healthy still giving the impression that it has a future.
