01/23/2025, 11:41 PMis anyone using solidus klaviyo? i've been using solidus events + solidus klaviyo for some time on a forked version cause the main branch is deprecated. Debating setting up support for using loops for email in conjunction with solidus and thought it might be worth asking if anyone else is in the same boat?

01/23/2025, 11:48 PMI haven't heard of Loops, but the project I am on uses Klaviyo for marketing emails. We don't use any gems for the integration, just implement a simple client in the app. I am curious what's motivating you to switch

01/23/2025, 11:50 PMI often see a lot of churn with regards to ESPs and always question if there is really a significant gain to be had. Are you looking for a platform for transactional email or are most of your emails marketing, with few touch-points with Solidus with regards to managing subscriptions?

01/24/2025, 12:25 PMWhat are your goals for email? Have you thought about just using something such as www.retool.com to build the logic of a klaviyo. Personally I think its becoming easier and easier to just replicate some of these things with klaviyo. The biggest issue I think really is the compliance around this.

01/30/2025, 11:25 PMsorry for the super slow reply. Loops is i think sort of the new kid in town which has a much more stable and consistent editor than klaviyo. I've sort of hit a point with klaviyo where it always is such a pain to do stuff, i end up doing less stuff
