Why don't our storefronts come with wishlists, reviews and subscriptions by default, they bring the store closer to reality.🤔

Because not all stores need those things. Solidus is meant to provide a good starting point but not something that works for everybody out of the box without some work/customizations.

However, I have this question precisely because it feels like almost all stores have these features. Since you've said the target is not out of the box, I can understand that.
