I have switched from VSCode with Copilot and an extension called Genie (with an OpenAI api key) to an editor called “Cursor.”
I don’t work for them or anything, so please, if anyone feels like this sounds like an advertisement please remove the message.
Anyway, the way it handles context is way better than copilot. You can add docs, and consult them from within conversation and generator functions.
This has been especially useful with Solidus because you can add the Solidus docs as context.
I’m upgrading a Solidus app from 3 to 4 overhauling the entire frontend, and and backend customizations, and even though I just started using it today, I feel like i’m breezing through it.
Just thought I’d share. Thanks for all the hard work guys!
