I had graduated from the same institution couple of years back when this incident happened and I remember the frenzy in our internal groups asking about this junior with such a dramatic story. We pretty much debunked it immediately due to connections at the campus. Rumour was that someone at our campus discovered this guy and stitched a story to go with it (making the campus popular as a side effect). But fun story nonetheless.

Going on to prove that when a good product meets a great story, magic happens :slightly_smiling_face:
