Ahrefs - usability + their content is really helpful.

SEMrush - if you want to use it for SEO, Social Media & google ads Ahrefs - if you want to use it for SEO

have used both and i prefer ahrefs because i feel it is more consistent with competitor intelligence you can run site audits using screamingfrog as well

Ahrefs- Link analysis. Both Internal & external. Site Audit. This is possible in the free plan. SEMrush- everything else!

Ahrefs - By far the best. The only reason I will use semrush is for their paid campaigns data

If you have budget for multiple tools then ahrefs. If not then SEMrush ftw

Ahrefs. I have used both and found SEMrush to be confusing. Plus, someone on the internet conducted a study on the efficacy of the data from 4-5 tools, and Ahrefs came out as the winner.

Ahrefs is best when it comes to backlinks. Be it content gap to build more links or competitor analysis as well. But for keyword research and content planning, Semrush is better. IMO
