Very shallow take. Doesn't look like he has gone deep into both those platforms.

Webflow is very customizable and easy. There is a big advantage in that, relative to wordpress.

I agree to @rohit's take on this. This is a very platonic take on the both the platforms

the biggest power of wordpress is the ecosystem it has to built for itself - thats why even if it sucks in certain areas.. it makes up in plenty of others.

I havent seen people use platonic in this context.., but marketers are romantics

Very superficial article. I have worked on WordPress and Webflow for over 5 years (Webflow for a couple of years) and I don't think I am qualified to say something is better than other. The reason I say platonic, because the details or the depth seems very surface level to me. WordPress is way more powerful. Yes it slightly slows down your website but the amount of customisation is insane. The plugins are absolutely a beast by themselves. However I believe a lot of folks have not extracted max value of WP. Webflow went the other way and said, you don't need a dev. I will give you blocks. I will be fast (so maybe better DA?) and you can add blocks. However folks have now started to realise you need a dev no matter what. Simple blocks editing is a pain. And this is just a fraction of my take with a SaaS /B2B perspective. That's why I used the word platonic. :)

From what we have seen webflow is super simple for people to pick up and use. Better from a return on head ache for a quick start. More technical you are, a wordpress and other options are great. Kind of like Magento versus Shopify argument. I do agree though, this is not an indepth & rigorous analysis..
