We’re a B2B SaaS company in the construction industry, and we’ve been running Meta Lead Gen ads(Landing Page) successfully for the past 1.5 years. However, in the last 2-3 months, we've seen a significant influx of spam leads(75%). Since our campaign optimizes based on the number of conversions (thank you page), Meta’s algorithm has started targeting similar spam leads.
I’m looking to reduce these spammy leads.
I had thought of two solutions for this. Does anyone have better idea or have faced similar situation like this?
1. set up offline conversion tracking by sending Hubspot SQL data through the Conversion API using n8n and the Graph API, successfully transmitting data back to our dataset. However, I’m unsure how to leverage this data effectively moving forward.
2. We're using HubSpot Sales Pro and Marketing Starter, in Marketing Pro it includes an "Events" feature. This allows us to send custom events based on our contacts’ lifecycle stages and assign values to these events. Should we upgrade to this? How to leverage this data in optimising our campaigns?
