Google Signals will no longer be included in GA4 reporting identity
Google recently announced that it will no longer include Google Signals as part of reporting identity in GA4. This will go live on February 12th.
Previously, if you had enabled Google Signals on your property, it caused thresholding (which hides rows with small user counts). That was pretty annoying, and I was recommending either keeping Google Signals disabled or excluding it from the reporting identity.
After all those years, Google decided to exclude Google Signals altogether (which is a welcome change). This means that Signals will continue adding additional demographic data to your reports and will still be used in remarketing audiences. However, thresholding will become a thing of the past.
