In school, everyone had a safe space. It could be the football team or the dance rehearsal before every Teacher’s Day, or a LADA (Debate or Theatrical space) or for many, even the Library & checking-out reading lists. The Crossword Space in The Hindu was popular in many schools for a long time & every class had a Crossword enthusiast. Crosswords are the Sudoku of words. Solving a crossword makes you feel content & euphoric in moderation. But, even better, solving a Crossword with your classmates, teammates, or neighbours, in short, a community is the shortest/swiftest way to form friends-for-life. I write for Tattlery.
