Hey friends We at Factors have talked to over 50 companies since the "recession" period started & two things that really stood out in the discussions were: 1. Budget cuts 2. Firing While the second point is subjective, the first one can be worked upon by maximizing your marketing spends & see how it affects revenue. Easier said than done, analytics tools in the market are way too pricy to even consider it. That way marketers spend hours on excel sheets & paving through data silos that doesn't even solve the purpose. I have penned some of the metrics that marketers should track to solve the above issues through our observation. Why S11S should read this? First of all, I truly believe these points are coming from honest observations after talking to numerous CMOs, CROs & marketing managers.
