Hey Shashank! Not made them more lead generation inclined but I involve the design teams in the performance of my demand generation funnel - both paid and organic.
Combined with the help of heat maps tools and A/B testing, I give them the freedom to play and experiment within boundaries of our metrics.

Giving them access to the CRO tools has been a game changer.

I was wondering what heatmapping tools could integrate into Hubspot. Hotjar was easy on wix and wordpress. Havent been able to find one for Hubspot.

Not so much in the B2B space. But in B2C, there are so many VPNs, stock trading apps,  and most indie games (android and iOS) do this.   YouTube video sponsors basically.   These get skipped.  So usually creators prefer a slot either at the very end or very beginning (of the script) — offer some sorta discounts w/ links in the desc.  Classic demand gen activity - CTRs to conversion gets measured.

But there are some brands that go for product  placement inside a video script.   This happens very less often —

While I haven’t done an influencer campaign in the traditional sense of it.  I’ve done a referral (my product was built for creators).

Yeah have seen this for many b2c-ish apps ofcourse and mass market low arpu b2b apps like shopify but haven't seen an enterprisy b2b app do this successfully although I don't fathom a reason to not be able to do it successfully. Ofcourse the way to do it would be different, if you operate in a niche market it would be hard to find influencers with enough influence/following and one may need to work with many smaller influencers which may warrant a specialised outreach/tool.

Tried very little via getting some industry veteran influener to a webinar, CEO talk show and round table engaging with them over longer tenure. Couple of customers consulted the influencer to take a buying decision as per the feedback received from the b2b customers.

This could perhaps become a business idea. A dedicated influencer marketing tool / company for B2B SaaS companies. There are many for B2C like Chtrbox, Winkl, One Impression, Wobb, Flynt Social but none specifically for B2B I guess.

I have helped execute influencer marketing campaigns for couple of my B2C clients in the past. Would always suggest going through an influencer marketing agency to save the headache of dealing with individual influencers (kid you not, I have done that and it's a nightmare). Unless you are dealing with &lt;5 influencers at a time.

I liked how Notion created 'evangelists' out of creators. Found this list of onboarding criteria.
But like you said Notion is more of a B2C-ish product than enterprise.

Clearbit is too expensive IMO - but the data quality is good. You can check out Happier Leader

clearbit is expensive for sure, but when it comes to data, i think purity outweighs the $$ in the long run

imo if you end up depending on manual resources even after subbing to an enrichment platform, it defeats the whole purpose

also, incorrect/impure data might not seem like a hurdle in the intial stages, but it snowballs very quickly as you scale and eventually you might end up reaching a point where ensuring data sanity becomes a two quarter project

If you want a primer to peak his interest - 22 immutable laws of marketing is nice. Short 120 pages, with enough examples to keep him hooked and finishing the first book quick will give him enough dopamine to keep him hooked.

marketing is all about doing. books are okay but not the best way to learn. ask him to start marketing his favourite product/service. whatever he needs he will learn on the way.

Start with Traction: How any startup can achieve explosive customer growth. Will give you an introduction to all of digital marketing.

And on the side ask him to build a community (any niche of his interest) — Slack, FB Group etc.  And he can drive traffic (and engagement).
