Hello, my events count show sudden hike on rudderstack and there is difference between the event counts betwen source & destination. Can somebody help me understand the behaviour? Also there are some failed events what are those?

source events = destination events + failed events

? If these numbers are the same then there is no problem with event counts and you should look at failed events, check the errors for failed events and resolve those errors

we have multiple destinations, should we add the events from all the destinations and then compare with source events?

Count for any one destination. Can you share your workspace id?

and the spike in events starts generally between 1:30 to 3:30pm.

I don’t see any issue in the event count here. Are you missing any specific events?

no, not missing events, but on 14th, the event count shot above 1L at source, which looked pretty unusual

I see, let me see if can investigate it further. Can you check in destination and see if it was any particular event that went high?

Can you check if the event ingestion is done correctly and you are passing the event name to such events? Are these events coming from any particular source or all sources connected to one destination ?
