For timezone-aware implementations, you have a couple of approaches:
Option 1: Prompt-based timezone adjustment
Include the current time in your system prompt with timezone offset instructions: "Now is {{current_time}}. Add X hours to make it our timezone". [(2) ]() [(3) ]()
Option 2: Dynamic variables via backend
Pass the current time into the prompt with a dynamic variable when initiating or receiving calls via your backend or no-code tools like Make, n8n, or Zapier. [(3) ]()
For business hours implementation, you can state the hours in your global prompt and call transfer instructions, then reference the current time using the methods above. [(2) ]() [(3) ]()
Note that timezone-aware {{current_time}} functionality is on the roadmap for native support.AI Evy

For Whistler, BC (which uses America/Vancouver timezone) , you would use:
{{current_time_America/Vancouver}}
This variable returns the current time in the specified timezone with the format: "Thursday, March 28, 2024 at 11:46:04 PM PDT".
You can also access just the hour as a fraction using {{current_hour_America/Vancouver}} , or get a 14-day calendar view with {{current_calendar_America/Vancouver}}.
To use this in your agent, include it in your prompts, begin message, tool configurations, or call handling settings. The system will automatically populate the variable with the current time in the Vancouver/Whistler timezone when the call or chat session runs.AI Evy

04/25/2026, 4:49 AMvoice_emotion setting is only supported by specific TTS providers, not all voices. [(1) ]() [(2) ]()
According to the documentation, emotional tone controls are "currently supported for Cartesia and Minimax TTS providers." This means that even if you're using the same voice name (like "Cimo") across different providers, the available settings will vary depending on which TTS provider that voice uses.
Available voice_emotion options include:
- calm
- sympathetic
- happy
- sad
- angry
- fearful
- surprised
Settings available for all voices:
- voice_speed - Controls speech rate (range 0.5-2)
- volume - Controls loudness (range 0-2)
- voice_temperature - Controls voice stability (range 0-2, where supported)
So if you're seeing different settings across agents using "Cimo" voices, it's because they're using different TTS providers. Cartesia and Minimax versions will show emotion controls, while other providers (like ElevenLabs, OpenAI, etc.) will only show the basic speed and volume controls.AI Evy
