@AI Evy A lot of our customers want to expose voice agents to Arabic speakers based out of middle east. But there is no voice in Retell AI which has accent as per the region. What is the plan to add the same?

### Answer Retell AI currently supports Arabic language (
ar-SA
) for speech recognition [(1) ]() [(2) ]() , but based on community discussions, full Arabic support with regional accents is still being developed [(3) ]() . According to a Discord conversation, the limitation appears to be on the speech-to-text side, as one team member noted: "My understanding is that we're just awaiting a solid Arabic speech-to-text model from deepgram. The LLM side, etc., can of course handle it now." Arabic support is on the roadmap , and there's a feature request channel where you can add your voice to prioritize this capability . For now, the supported languages in Retell AI include 
ar-SA
among many others like 
en-US
, 
es-ES
, 
fr-FR
, etc. [(1) ]() [(2) ]() , but the full voice agent experience with region-specific Arabic accents is still in development.
