### Answer
When the Retell AI HubSpot integration is active, calls are automatically synced to HubSpot with their recordings and transcripts as part of the integration's standard behavior [(1) ](
) . The HubSpot integration updates the Activity Timeline with post-call analysis and call summary, and creates Call Logs with recording and detailed call transcript .
To control what data is stored and synced, you need to configure your agent's data storage settings. Navigate to your agent and under
Security & Fallback Settings → Data Storage Settings, you can select [(2) ](
) :
-
Everything — store transcripts, recordings, and logs
-
Everything except PII — store content, excluding PII when possible
-
Basic Attributes Only — store only metadata (no transcripts/recordings/logs)
When you choose "Basic Attributes Only", no transcripts, recordings, or logs are stored . However, note that you will continue to receive webhook events where you can access the transcript and call recording, but the call recording link will expire after 10 minutes upon receiving the webhook .
If you select "Basic Attributes Only" and later query the call with the get call API, you will not get the transcript or recording fields .
