### Answer
 To convert an agent component to a library component, turn on the "Save component to library" option [(1) ](<https://docs.retellai.com/build/conversation-flow/components>) . This will create a shared (library) version of your component that can be reused across multiple agents in your account .

Conversely, if you want to convert a library component reference in your agent to a local copy, turn off syncing . This stops the component from receiving updates from the library version .
