You should set up the data point extraction tools (like name and last name) on the second agent (the transferred-to agent) . [(1) ]()
Here's how it works:
- Each agent has its own prompt and tools, so extraction tools for data points should be configured on the agent that will actually be collecting that information during the conversation.
- For post-call analysis, the Agent Transfer tool has a "Post call analysis setting" that lets you choose whether to extract dynamic variables for:
- Only the transferred agent, or
- Both agents
In summary:
- Configure the name/last name extraction tools on the second agent (where the conversation collecting that data happens) .
- In the Agent Transfer tool on the first agent, set the post-call analysis setting to capture data from both agents if you want all extracted variables included in your webhook payload.
