Minimax TTS is not outputing audio !
# ❓・bug-report
m
The calls logs show STT but the recording clearly reveal that the TTS didn't work : the agent was silent ! call_83fa0e53302ac5b1b939377199a call_0b79d06609165d8b9e6a911c4b6 call_cfbdc011c741fae68be0c0f3304 call_dc11811416e717450d16ca8e22b @Omar Ashraf | Community Lead @Colin - Integrations @ Retell AI Please could you explain what happened guys ? The fallback voice set is : custom_voice_0d97cc8601b767ef6a808dea31
s
Ok
Hi @Michel D. team is looking into this
m
Hi, thanks, our customer is getting so damn nervous lol
o
Hello @Michel D. , can you test it now ?
and can you tell me how you got it in this state?
did you use the dashboard , API ?
Your voice agent some how was using Minimax with cartesia model!, do you have any idea how you did it ?
m
We use API only
Wow strange !
What was the voice_model ?
o
sonic-3
m
But that’s overridable no ?
The documentation shows that the create phone call endpoint allows to override the voice_model ?
o
the team is investigating this, if there is any new update I will let you
for now the service is working for you right ?
m
I’m not home rn but I hope so !
Could you keep me posted when you find out the reason ?
Could you explain this please Omar ? I’ve always been able to override an agent voice_model via an API create phone call request
o
Hello @Michel D. , this was part of your request "agent_override": { "agent": { "voice_id": "minimax-Camille", "voice_model": "sonic-3", "voice_emotion": "happy" } } which has conflicting voice_id and voice_model. we currently don't validate the compatibility.
m
Ok yup that makes sense so it’s on my end.
