This variable automatically contains the user's phone number for both call directions: 
- **Inbound calls**: `{{user_number}}` returns the `from_number` (the caller's number)
- **Outbound calls**: `{{user_number}}` returns the `to_number` (the number you're calling)

There are also additional phone-related system variables available: 
- `{{agent_number}}` – the agent's phone number (to_number for inbound, from_number for outbound)
- `{{direction}}` – returns `inbound` or `outbound`

These are default system variables that require no configuration—they're automatically available for phone calls.
