Each knowledge base has the following limits: [(1) ](<https://docs.retellai.com/build/knowledge-base>)

- **URLs**: max 500 URLs 
- **Auto-Crawling URL Paths**: max 200 exclusion URLs for each auto-crawling path, and max 500 exclusion URLs per knowledge base 
- **Text**: max 50 text snippets 
- **Files**: max 25 files, with each file max 50MB 
  - For CSV, TSV, XLS, and XLSX files: row limit is 1,000 rows and column limit is 50 columns 

You can create multiple knowledge bases to overcome these limits, and an agent can have more than one knowledge base linked to it. 

Additionally, the first 10 knowledge bases are free per workspace. Additional knowledge bases are billed at $8/month each.
