@AI Evy I'm having issues using the SMS agent and setting it to an imported Twilio number. I see in the get chat request that deliverStatus has failed but from Twilio's end we can't see what the error message is as the log doesn't show up. Is there a way to surface more information on Retell's end?

Thanks for tagging me @artu. I'll look through relevant sources and get back to you shortly.
### Answer Based on the available sources, I don't have specific information about how to surface detailed SMS delivery error messages within Retell's dashboard or API responses beyond the
deliverStatus
field you're already seeing. However, for imported Twilio numbers with SMS functionality, here are a few things to verify: SMS Setup Requirements for Bring Your Own Twilio Number [(1) ]() When using your own Twilio number with SMS capabilities, you need to: - Provide your Twilio Account SID and Auth Token in the Setup SMS Function under Advanced Add-Ons - Ensure your Twilio number already has SMS capabilities enabled and is compliant with SMS regulations before integration - For two-way SMS conversations, enable the
useInboundWebhookOnNumberCalled
option in your phone number configuration A2P 10DLC Compliance If your number isn't properly registered for A2P 10DLC messaging, SMS delivery can fail. Make sure your Twilio number is compliant with SMS regulations. Since the error details aren't surfacing on either Retell or Twilio's side, this may require direct support investigation. Check out these potentially useful sources: - [Send & receive SMS]() - [Import Phone Number]() - [Create Chat Completion]() For this specific issue with hidden error messages, I'd recommend reaching out to Retell support directly via [Contact Sales]() or asking on the community forum with your org ID and specific details.
