### Answer The available documentation doesn't specify ElevenLabs plan requirements for importing voices into Retell AI. However, when adding an ElevenLabs community voice via the API, you need to provide: -
provider_voice_id
(the voice ID from ElevenLabs) [(1) ]() -
voice_name
(a custom name for the voice) -
voice_provider
set to
elevenlabs
-
public_user_id
— this is required for ElevenLabs only and should be the user ID of the voice owner If you're missing the
public_user_id
parameter, that could be why the import isn't working. You can also add custom voices through the dashboard by clicking "Add custom voice" in the voice selection dropdown. [(2) ]() For specific ElevenLabs plan requirements or account-level restrictions, I'd recommend checking ElevenLabs' documentation directly or reaching out to support: - [Contact Sales]() - [Retell AI GitHub]() Would you like a general answer based on my knowledge about ElevenLabs plans?

### Answer The available sources don't specify any ElevenLabs plan requirements for importing voices into Retell AI. Based on community discussions, there are some known limitations with importing ElevenLabs voices: What's currently supported: - ElevenLabs community voices can be searched and added through the dashboard [(1) ]() - Custom voice cloning directly within Retell (which uses ElevenLabs API under the hood) [(2) ]() Known limitations: - Searching by voice ID in the dashboard search doesn't work—it only searches by name [(1) ]() - Importing custom/instant clones created directly in ElevenLabs is not currently supported [(2) ]() [(1) ]() - For professional voice clones from ElevenLabs, Retell support has mentioned they can manually help add these on a case-by-case basis [(2) ]() Workaround options: 1. Use the voice clone feature within Retell to recreate your voice (though quality may differ from ElevenLabs professional clones) [(3) ]() 2. Contact Retell support directly if you have a professional voice clone that needs to be added [(2) ]() This appears to be a feature limitation rather than an ElevenLabs plan issue. The ability to import custom ElevenLabs voices by ID has been requested and added to Retell's backlog. [(1) ]()
