### Answer A 400 Bad Request error when setting up AI Quality Assurance typically indicates an issue with the request payload or configuration format. [(1) ]() Based on similar 400 errors reported in other Retell AI contexts, here are some things to check: - Validate your JSON payload - Ensure the configuration you're sending follows the correct format and structure - Check required fields - When defining resolution criteria, make sure you've properly configured the AI Evaluated Conditions (with Name and Prompt Description) and/or Performance Metrics [(2) ]() - Verify metric selections - If using Performance Metrics, ensure you're selecting valid options like Latency, User Sentiment, Agent Sentiment, Interruptions, Transcription, Agent Hallucination, Tool Call Inaccuracy, Node Transition Inaccuracy, or Agent Naturalness Could you share more details about: 1. Where exactly in the AI QA setup process you're encountering the error? 2. What configuration you're trying to save? This will help narrow down the specific cause.

@AI Evy This is in regards to setting up Retell's AI Quality Assurance service. When I set all the predefined parameters and variables and click Save and Run QA that's when i get the 400 bad request.

Thanks for the follow-up, @SaintDilly. I'll get back to you soon.
### Answer The 400 Bad Request error when clicking "Save and Run QA" suggests a validation issue with your configuration. [(1) ]() Here are specific things to verify before saving: For AI Evaluated Conditions: - Ensure each condition has both a Name (e.g., "Call resolved") and a Prompt Description (e.g., "AI agent was able to resolve user's query") For Performance Metrics: - Verify you've selected a valid metric from the available options: Latency, User Sentiment, Agent Sentiment, Interruptions, Transcription, Agent Hallucination, Tool Call Inaccuracy, Node Transition Inaccuracy, or Agent Naturalness - Ensure thresholds are properly set for each metric If using Weighted Scoring: - Confirm weights are assigned to each condition/metric and the Success Criteria threshold is set The documentation notes: "If you encounter an error when saving, review your conditions and metrics to ensure all required fields are filled and criteria thresholds are set. Resolve any validation messages before retrying." If you've verified all fields are complete and the error persists, this may be a platform-side issue similar to what others have experienced. [(2) ]() In that case, I'd recommend reaching out to Retell support directly: - Visit [Contact Sales]() - Visit [)
