<@1145576664366055464> Retellai chatbot widget how to open it automaticly

Thanks for tagging me <@1283963196662747230>. I'll look through relevant sources and get back to you shortly.

### Answer

You can auto-open the chat widget on page load using the `data-auto-open` attribute. [(1) ](<https://docs.retellai.com/deploy/chat-widget>)

Set it to `"true"` in your script tag:

```html
<script
  id="retell-widget"
  src="<https://dashboard.retellai.com/retell-widget.js%22>
  type="module"
  data-public-key="YOUR_RETELL_PUBLIC_KEY"
  data-agent-id="YOUR_RETELL_CHAT_AGENT_ID"
  data-auto-open="true"
></script>
```

If you want a delayed popup message instead (e.g., after 5 seconds) , you can use these attributes:
- `data-show-ai-popup="true"` – enables popup messages
- `data-show-ai-popup-time="5"` – seconds to delay before showing the popup (default: 0)
