Thanks for tagging me @sean. I'll look through relevant sources and get back to you shortly.
### Answer To set up a call transfer to a human, follow these steps: 1. Add the Transfer Call Tool Click "+ Add" in the tools section and select "Transfer Call" from the dropdown menu. [(1) ]() 2. Set the Transfer Destination Set the transfer number to either: - A number in E.164 format (e.g.,
+15551234567
) - A SIP URI in the format
sip:username@domain
- A dynamic variable that gets substituted at runtime You can also set a transfer number extension if needed (digits 0-9,
*
,
#
) . 3. Update Your Prompt Add instructions to your agent's prompt specifying when to transfer. For example: "If the user is angry or frustrated, use the transfer_call tool to transfer the conversation to a human agent." 4. Choose Transfer Type - **Cold transfer**: The call transfers directly without any AI interaction with the destination. - **Warm transfer**: The AI can detect if a human answers, deliver a private whisper message to brief the agent, and optionally provide a three-way introduction message. *5. Configure Warm Transfer Settings (Optional) * For warm transfers, you can configure: - On-hold music for the caller - Human detection to ensure a person (not voicemail) answers - Whisper message to brief the human agent privately - Three-way message spoken to both parties once connected - Agent detection timeout (default is 30 seconds) Note: Call transfer only works during phone calls, not web calls.

### Answer The location of the tools section depends on which type of agent you're using: For Single/Multi-Prompt Agents: Click "+ Add" in the tools section to add tools like "End Call" or "Transfer Call." [(1) ]() For Conversation Flow Agents: Tools are configured differently—they can be defined within components and nodes. Tools need to be defined within the component and will not be visible outside at the agent level. [(2) ]() If you're using a Conversation Flow agent (the visual node-based builder) , you won't see a traditional "tools" button. Instead, tools are added through function nodes and configured within the flow itself. Could you confirm which agent type you're working with? If you're in the Conversation Flow builder (with the visual canvas and nodes) , the setup process is different from the Single/Multi-Prompt agent builder.

### Answer ### Answer For a Single Prompt Agent, the tools section should be visible in your agent configuration interface. A single prompt agent uses one comprehensive prompt to define all agent behaviors. [(1) ]() In the Single Prompt Agent setup, you should see a tools area where you can add tools like "Transfer Call" or "End Call." The general tools are configured as part of your LLM configuration. [(2) ]() For example, tools appear in a structure like this:
Copy code
json
"general_tools": [
  {
    "type": "end_call",
    "name": "end_call",
    "description": "End the call with user."
  }
]
If you're not seeing the tools section, make sure you're in the correct agent editing view (not just viewing the agent details) . The "+ Add" button to add tools should appear in the tools section of your Single Prompt Agent configuration. If you're still unable to locate it, could you share a screenshot or describe what you're seeing in your dashboard? That would help narrow down the issue.
