- It costs around 1.12 - it does need everything like registration, license. It is a bike for adults. It also has a sport mode which is quite torquey ..

The license requirement is actually tied to the capacity of the bike engine (50cc, etc) — however, electric bikes have no combustion engines - so no CC. Not sure if they have updated the motor vehicle acts to take this into consideration. Might be too hard to argue with a cop though. Interesting times we live in 😄

@loud-glass-33663 Regarding the last part, arguing with cops - in BLR, cops are accepting documents from DigiLocker. Infact, authorities are accepting documents from DigiLocker from quite sometime. And yes, it seems they have made some changes to MV act. I got a Reg#. It is a great product @refined-vegetable-38843. Fun Fact: They delivered the bike from a Tech park (IBC Tech Park, Diary Circle) 😎

I guess prices of electric vehicles are going to be reduced in coming days according to India’s new budget
