Hey guys, need a help. One of my friends works at CTS and she wants to switch to digital marketing as her tech is too outdated and can be used only on TCS CTS etc. So she wants to know if someone can guide on is getting a certificate for digital marketing is worth it and maybe get Junior roles on remote work. Appreciate if you could help. 👍

Hi Vignesh, I am a freelance digital marketer. I would suggest to rather learn skills than focusing on certificate. Mostly nobody asks for it. If I had to start all over again, I would: 1) Learn Skills from YouTube, Udemy, etc. 2) Join Relevant Facebook Groups 3) Ask for people for free work in return of a testimonial 4) Apply to jobs.

@acceptable-parrot-68168 Right, I understand work really matters and thought doing a certification could get you familiar with the ideas and terms and other stuff. The hard part is to actually find remote jobs on this when a person switches the career. Is it easier to figure it out? Also could you get me a nice place to start, ill forward it to her.

I don't have a full time job but I have a part time job and take freelance projects. I didn't had any problem finding work bit I was working on it for quite some time. I would suggest little bit of everything at first and then sticking to what really works/interests her best. I work with sales funnel btw. :)

@acceptable-parrot-68168 nice. Btw what do you exactly do in a sales funnel? Something like lead generation?

So, I mostly draw the funnel map and then build it out for my clients. Most of my clients are online coaches. Check out my website: www.CSZRdigital.com
