Hey #tribe I have a curious question for people working remotely for sometime now: • Have you ever thought of moving back and work with Indian startups?
I'm kind of considering this as I miss working with fast growing startups in the Indian startup ecosystem and want to eventually start my own startup (Learning, Networking, etc becomes imp here).
Also, because I think my remote experience may not be very relevant in case I plan to join a B2C consumer / tech startup few years down the line - as relevant past experience matters in senior roles. (PS: experience relevancy won't be true for Techies, I'm from Marketing background so talking in that context).
• Have ever made a switch back to Indian startup/company? If so, what are the general challenges?
E.g: a) Salary: You may probably end up taking a pay cut (do correct me if I'm wrong) b) Experience relevancy in context of my first point. c) Others.
Keen to hear thoughts from the RI community!

@elegant-jordan-53763 Recently, paused my freelancing and took up a startup role at a crypto company that's growing and is well funded. The hypothesis of "pay cut" is not always true, in fact the opposite and pay hikes are possible if you choose wisely The team is amazing, great people, got a great package, direct crypto/blockchain industry access and will keep negotiating more as we grow and was happy to stop working for US companies for a while after working with them for 5 years

Thanks, @swift-pilot-25722! Curious to know what made you switch to Indian startup after working in US Remote role for 5 years. Was that learning curve?

Learning, team exposure, more work on my data expertise and crypto industry and not getting up in US hours but still maintaining same/more pay and similar lifestyle
