Does Amazon India have a designated senior executive for filing complaints regarding poor customer servic? If yes, any email ID? Just like you file complaints with Nodal officer in Banks? My experience with their customer service executives in last 1 year has been absolutely pathetic and I am tired of endless calls with no resolution. EDIT - Facing serious issues here. Please help me by retweeting if you can 🙏 https://twitter.com/jaintj95/status/1425319983517556736?s=19

Last time when i had an issue, i had to write to bezos to get it resolved but now he’s left. But that may still work out in case you want to try

I've spent the entire week trying to resolve an issue for my sister (defective laptop purchased from amazon that needed to be replaced). Some things I've learnt: 1. Complain loudly on social media, get your friends to share/retweet. Their social media team is good at following up via email. 2. Persistently ask for someone from the 'senior escalation team'. They can get things resolved a bit faster. 3. Each of my calls with their customer service personnel was 1 hr+. I just refused to get off the line until they escalated up the chain or sent me email confirmations. 4. Emailing bezos also helps. Their support team replies back to you. At the end of the day, Amazon India is bureaucratic. They just shuffle you from one dept to another (support, pickup, warehouse, logistics etc). You have to make a loud noise on social media to get the issue resolved. FWIW: My sister's issue is now close to resolution. They finally picked up the defective laptop (4th attempt). Now awaiting the refund to be processed.
@faint-energy-11966: What's the issue you're facing?

Not picking up an item that I filed a return for. Every day they create a new return request and promise that item will be picked up "On Priority" and then nothing happens. They've been doing this for 2 weeks now

What's the item?

A uselessly expensive office drawer from Featherlite 😥

Consumer court complaint after Twitter/Fb shamming is something that has worked for me. not just for Amazon but also for ACT Fibernet and Furlenco.

@faint-energy-11966: Keep relentlessly calling them everyday until they pick up the item. Be extremely aggressive with the customer support person. Insist that another pickup be scheduled and that they should email you the pickup confirmation (including date and time) before current call ends. Ensure that you receive the email before the call ends. Email should have a link to pickup details (your address, item details, pickup date, time).
Also after talking to many people, the common thread is that Amazon attempts to stonewall you when you try to return expensive items. They'll keep delaying the pickup until you give up.

It took them 2 weeks and 20+ calls to figure out that the pick up requests they were creating were being assigned to an address in Rajasthan while I live in Bangalore. My mistake - I was polite and understanding in all previous conversations. Blasted them today and somehow they figured it out their mistake this time. Heights of incompetence Let's see if they actually pick up the item this time
There we go again. Another day, another stupid excuse. Have to take it to twitter and email Jeff kaka now 🤷🏻‍♂️

hey @faint-energy-11966 have you tried cancelling the pickup request and raising a new one, that works for me most of the time. On the off chance it doesn’t work: Had a similar issue last year and after 2 weeks the return window expired and then I refused to get off the call until they give me a resolution and kept on asking for their manager/lead and went up the chain and got the refund processed even before the item was picked up.

They have been creating a new pickup request everyday. They are unwilling to refund either. This is when my family literally orders something almost every week
