Hi tribe What’s your take on Gaming consoles vs Gaming PC. Gaming consoles have more exclusives than PC, but can that be the only factor before buying either of them. If you use one over other what was the main thing that drived you buy it. I’m planning on getting one but confused what to buy 🥲

If you’re low on budget and want to game? Console If you have the money, PC

Microsoft doesn't really do exclusives anymore. Sony is bringing lot of their exclusives to PC, albeit with a delay. PC makes a lot of sense to game on. Depending on the kind of games you play. Another factor is Gamepass - look at Gamepass and for Xbox vs PC - both differ and see if either fits what you want and budget and choose Series X or S etc. If you like Nintendo games - there's no option (excluding emulator) but the Switch. I am into handheld gaming and have a Switch and looking forward to the SteamDeck.

Buying latest gen console or building a gaming PC are incredibly hard these days, even if you have money. At best, you can buy a laptop with decent graphics card. Having said that, PCs can't replace console (and vice versa), both co-exist for different reasons.

There are a lot of factors that go into it. For me, the main factor nowadays is "quick + lazy" gaming. I.e., I don't want to spend any time maintaining a system (I don't use windows) or with series x/ps5, even wait for boot the system and then game. Quick Resume FTW. Next up is lazy, i.e., couch gaming. Rest as people above me have mentioned.

PC - Versatile, 100x more games, FPS, Cheaper games. Console - Great Exclusives.

Thanks really helpful 💡

PC 100% Love to play Sony exclusives like Horizon Zero Dawn in 60FPS

I went with a system that could keep the family engaged. Got a Nintendo switch. A few times a week, the whole family geeks out bashing each other on mario kart 😄

@straight-continent-34777 Warioware looks great for that 🙂
