Hey folks. An acquaintance in the banking industry wants to start freelancing and is curious about the type of work he can get. He has worked as a Branch Manager, Auditor, Demat "desk", Clearing desk, and Technical Officer in Govt banks for ~10 years. For people with a similar background, could you please share your experience getting into freelancing and the type of jobs you usually get - links to public jobs (like from Upwork etc) would be really appreciated!

I am not experienced enough to provide deep insight but I reckon they can easily find a lot of consulting opportunities with fintechs and neobanks? Fintech space is hot and thriving in our country.
