Question of the Week

What’s the kindest/helpful thing a RI member has ever done for you?

For the gestures, big and small, that helped you. - It’s time to shoutout 📣 and acknowledge the help they gave.

@helpful-gigabyte-47939 for patiently answering my queries and guiding me about a PC I was assembling.

I am going to cheat and share more names than one ;) @calm-grass-85557 - For making me realise that we Indians can together form a positive super helpful group and actually help each other without any expectations. All of his hard work shaping the community has made it so much earlier for all of us to help each other.  @loud-glass-33663 - Silent but awesome person at heart. Have seen him contribute with whatever knowledge he can share. When I joined RI, he was the one person I interacted with initially the most.  Also some unique Gems of RI that I try to read and understand @cold-school-3088 (valuable and practical insights), @creamy-dawn-73235   @faint-energy-11966, @victorious-energy-56764 @hundreds-winter-88791 @magnificent-solstice-42554

@loud-glass-33663 For patiently helping me out with my first tubelight installation. I learnt a lot during the process 💡 And also the entire RI community for being patient and answering all finance and investment related noob questions 😄

I must say pretty much everyone here is super helpful and patient with answering any queries no matter how dumb it is. This slack community is an amazing find and is the best I've interacted with so far. And for that my shoutout goes to @calm-grass-85557 Also to @billions-eve-65673 for being super helpful with all my queries

@calm-grass-85557 for creating this platform without him we never get a chance to know each other

@loud-glass-33663 From helping me make my first current account, shop act license and helping me with my taxes, he listened patiently and answered even the most stupid questions I had.

@flat-morning-91037 my go-to guardian angel for everything. Been taking his advice on personal things as well. An absolute gem he is ❤️ Everyone here as been really kind to me @loud-glass-33663 @helpful-gigabyte-47939 @hundreds-winter-88791 @kind-queen-6796 @cold-school-3088 @faint-energy-11966 and the list goes on. They have shared every bit of knowledge and information possible whenever I have reached out ❤️

A big shout out to @helpful-raincoat-87337 🙌 who has been inspiring with updates on his side projects. He has a knack for always popping in and helping out with suggestions for tools and services which old folks like me have no idea exist today. Has really helped with my learning and growth of late. @helpful-gigabyte-47939, @acceptable-flag-71699 and @victorious-energy-56764 have always taken the time to share their experience in very thoughtful posts. Was introduced to by Swanand which has made a big improvement on my productivity. A huge shout out to all of them 🙌 Grateful also to @brief-scooter-54095 for jumping on a call with me to discuss Stripe and share his experiences. Helped clear lot of doubts in a short time. And finally, major props are in order for @polite-secretary-64403 who is doing a phenomenal job as community champion. She and @calm-grass-85557 are the glue that hold everything together and the community would not thrive as much if it wasn’t for their efforts. More power to them! 🙌

I would like to send a shout out to 3 folks, but I am sure there are more acts of kindness than I can remember now 😇 1. @loud-glass-33663 for organizing a Super Secret celebration call on Zoom when we had reached 1000 members. 2. @dry-monkey-93718 for convincing his colleagues at Appsmith to support the RI project. 3. @crooked-ghost-83128 for being an early believer and letting ScaleReal become a long-term sponsor. Cheers to everyone who posted in the thread. Reading your replies helps me to keep going. I feel blessed to have folks in the community who go out of their way to help each other 🙌

@calm-grass-85557 by default - for bringing us all together. And @loud-glass-33663 for introducing me to the most amazing misal pav I’ve had yet! Food and friendship! I’m definitely sorted 🙂
