I am looking to add whois privacy to all my domains but was recently told that the .in domains cannot be privacy protected due to registry restrictions. Does anyone know a workaround for this?

there's no workaround. if you need privacy protection, don't grab a .in domain

(.in TLD)Domains purchased through Namecheap.com has privacy enabled by default. It redacts the public contact information and provides an abuse email.

@cool-garage-76023 nope, I checked with namecheap. This is a registrar mandate it seems and hence no .in domains can have whois privacy protection.

If you are buying a new .in domain and still want privacy protection, give fake details to the registrar?
