i know many people here work remotely trying to understand how health insurance works for you and your dependents like parents and kids. i heard many insurers dont give the insurance for sudden surgeries unless its a chronic disease and known prior.

It is the other way around. Most insurance companies will have a wait-period for known priors whereas urgent surgeries are almost always covered.

okay may be i need to check the insurance taken by you people. Also is it suggestable leaving a full time job and try remote job considering stability and long term. I am trying to understand better before making a move .
