Hello All , I would be travelling to Delhi with my 2 friends in March start , since we any of 3 have not travelled Delhi previously so had some queries . 1. Which area would be safe for staying for 2-3 days and if possible near to Chandni chowk Sarojini Nagar for shopping . Since we would be out for whole day for shopping and would only come at night to hotel . I saw some reviews were people luggages were stolen . 2. Any hotels which you can recommend ? Budget is <=2000/night .

For stay try looking for a good Airbnb.

I would recommend Ginger hotel near new delhi railway station. It is very near to metro station ( also connects to airport ) and is very convenient if you are planning to leave or arrive delhi by train. chandni chowk is around 10-12 mins ride
