Hey Tribe 👋, need some suggestions for the hostel/co-work in Temi I am setting up: do you know what cycles 🚴 (bikes) I should get for a typical hilly terrain. Darjeeling, Gangtok should be good reference or any similar city should do. There is a tea estate, so please bear that in mind - dirt roads. Budget wise I would start at the low end if possible, these machines can be very expensive. The bikes will be available for rent.

Rockrider ST30 costs 10k, which is definitely a competitive price point for what you get. One aspect you need to think about is the maintenance of these bikes. Multi-speed bikes with suspensions require more maintenance than single speed rigid bikes. So take that into consideration. How do you get around when you're in Temi?

Thanks @curved-minister-23111 I will stick with Dechathlon ones then. I will check for their stores in Sikkim or North Bengal. I think there is one in Siliguri.

Yes, there's a Decathlon in Siliguri. Inside the City Centre Mall. It's quite big too.

Thank you @gray-lizard-20825, that would help in major repairs but we will need some kits for small maintenance ourselves. Siliguri is 4 hours drive at least. But good bikes are quite reliable so I think it is going to be fine.
