Can anyone recommend a good physiotherapy center in Pune? (back pain, spondylosis etc.)

Thank you @powerful-boots-8116. Do you have experience with Dr. Vipul? If yes, can you share your experience.
c
plus one for vipul jain , he is baner based
p
Yes, I have visited him couple of times in 2020 for back pain. He suggested few exercises that helped. Overall, Positive experience. Before that i visited Krumur Clinic, It was fine but very far and expensive. You can also try Iyengar yoga medical class. I did it for 2 yrs and has benefited me a lot.
q
Thank you 🙂 I will definitely have a conversation with Vipul Jain. I came across this center, any thoughts?
p
I think I have seen this in the past but never visited. You actually don't need to go for fancy analysis initially. It will definitely cost you more. I have back pain from last 6-7 years and visited lot of doctors. Maximum benefit I got was from Iyengar yoga. I sit a lot and like to play sports like football and cricket so different kind of problems started to arise. That is where you need better diagnosis of the problem. That is when I visited Krumur and Vipul Jain. I would suggest visit Vipul Jain and do the exercises that he suggests. If you don't get the results then maybe you can think of options like QI Spine.
q
Okay, that makes sense. Based on some of the review for the above, it definitely is costly (for 14 sessions around 12-13K).
c
for back pain , its all about daily routine exercises , any other things will not work out in long term

@quick-judge-84214 QI spine - my mom has seen good results with them but depending on the severity of pains, Iyengar yoga may be a better option

PSA: RIMYI, the original Iyengar Yoga institute is taking admissions for newcomers (both ONLINE & OFFILINE) https://www.rimyionline.org/ I am a student of RIMYI for last 6 years, and it has helped me

@wide-twilight-82330 Iyengar Yoga usually needs some props/support items, right? So do we need to buy them if we are doing it online? Or we don't need any props?
w
@mysterious-yak-23452 can be bought on amazon / at the institute. I am not sure if they have shipping if buying from institute. Online classes they started during pandemic, previously it was only offline.
m
Got it. Thank you. I am thinking of joining online class. I guess they would tell us in the first class of what we need to buy.
w
@mysterious-yak-23452 no idea man, I joined them sometime in 2015/16, so I knew what stuff is required and had purchased some props from the institute.
m
No problem. Thanks for the input and sharing the link. I will get in touch with them and confirm.

Go to Dr. Chiplunkar, Prabhat Road. He's an Orthopedic but has a team of physios with him. He's 10/10, one of the few who can diagnose a problem properly.
