Has anyone successfully updated their Aadhar online for name correction? I remember filling update request online but never received any further updates and I also forgot it. Now, I can't find any trace of the request id to track the status 😛 and if I try to download using my aadhar number it is still showing older version 😅

most of the time, updating online is sunk money. they charge you 50 for the update, but will reject towards the end. it is better to queue up at aadhar kiosk instead (i had failed updates 4 times online before going for the offline route). the in-person update took literally 1 day and aadhar was generated the very next day.

Ya, that’s what I am feeling. I did online update request for mine and family members and I guess loss all the money without any updates

I did get my name updated online

I changed my wife's surname after our marriage online. It took the time (3-4 months) but it worked.

i have updated my name and address online last week, it got updated in 4 days

👍

I got my address updated. Took > a month without updated but it was done

My initial was expanded (no name change), in a week's time.
