Hey folks, I'm looking for freelancers for a small project of mine to automate something. This doesn't fit the format in #work-opportunities so posting here (Let me know if you want me to delete and post there!) The task is fairly simple : Automate hyperlink Creation. I've always disliked creating hyperlinks manually and was working on a simple tool to automate this last year. 1. Copy a link of an article 2. Paste in roam or notion or any note taking tool 3. The hyperlink should be created with the title of the page as the text and the link as the url of the website. Example • Copy this https://www.nateliason.com/blog/roam • and when pasted on a page it should automatically show as Roam: Why I Love It and How I Use It Can be a bookmarklet or a chrome extension (Whichever gets the job done quicker!). If you're interested, DM or comment here 🙂

For me Evernote web clipper does this for me. The difference is I don't copy it manually.

I use https://memex.garden/ browser extension. I can highlight a few sentences and copy them to my note taking tool (Logseq). I can setup copy templates to match my preference and note taking style. This is how the copy pasted stuff looks. Notes are the sentences I’ve highlighted on the webpage (I’ve added the author later)
