Here’s the reality if you want healthy, sustainable growth—which, not so surprisingly, will spawn more healthy growth—you need to reverse engineer the profit. Take profit first. You can’t grow out of your profit problem. You need to fix profit first, then grow.

I believe the big idea in this book is to create systems which help overcome the akrasia prevalent in humans. I love the small little hacks he has provided (like creating different checking accounts for funnelling your money). And hopefully the profit account will keep accumulating. A personal example: When I was earning money, I had automated direct debits by FundsIndia to make sure I was saving 50% of my monthly income. And that simple hack has helped me to feel very calm about my financial future.
